Abstract

Introduction: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is widely used in aesthetic medicine due to its biostimulatory effects on skin regeneration and improvement of aging signs.

Objective: To evaluate the effects of PRP stimulation on facial retention points in female patients aged 30 to 50 years.

Materials and Methods: Observational, descriptive study including 30 patients treated in a private clinic in Santa Rosa, Misiones (2023–2024). Sociodemographic variables, aging signs, skin texture and color changes, satisfaction, and adherence were analyzed.

Results: Mean age was 40 years. Aging signs were present in 44% of patients. Texture changes were observed in 40%, and hyperpigmentation in 57%. A total of 79% reported excellent satisfaction, and 54% showed excellent adherence.

Conclusion: PRP applied to facial support points proved to be a safe and effective treatment with high satisfaction and adherence, improving clinical signs of facial aging.
